Business ideas - marketing tools area. Welcome! Besides advertising, you must have other tools that are essential for running your business effectively.

  • Your own website - Having your own website is a must in order to succeed in the Internet business arena. By having your own website, I mean your very own with you own domain name.

  • Email account - This is one of the most important tools you need. You need it to communicate with your clients. You do not have to pay any money to get one. I do most of my communication via my yahoo and gmail email accounts. Click here to get an account with Gmail.website tools

  • A telephone - This is only if you plan to communicate with your clients and other business contacts. Since long distance phone calls can be expensive, you need to get a Skype account to get connected overseas. All your phone calls will be free but, your contacts must have a Skype account.

  • Lead capture page also known as a splash page to capture leads and build a list.

  • Autoresponder - you need to have an autoresponder to get in touch with those leads you capture. There are free and paid autoresponders. They cost about $12 to $20 a month depending which company and package you choose. The most popular paid ones are AWeber.com and Getresponse and a free one is SendFree.
